About the Red Rooster
A passion for antiques led to the Red Rooster's creation in 2004. Moving to a larger building in 2007 allowed the development of a very special art gallery which provides exhibition space for our local artists in this rural area.
The economic downturn of the past several years has pushed the "Roo" to embrace a more viable format. Becoming an "emporium" allows me to offer a very broad diversity of merchandise at one pleasing location. No matter what the visitor seeks, that item--or something better--is likely to be found here.
The ever-popular, second floor Art Gallery remains. Antiques and collectible booths make up approximately 30% of our current vendors. What I have added are all those exciting, unique treasures that you always hope to stumble upon. Our prices range from 69 cent match box cars to a $2,000.00 glass piece. Many items are hand-crafted locally.
I am continually soliciting vendors who offer unusual, quality, high-end products and are interested in renting booth spaces at less than $1.00/square foot--a perfect solution to that high overhead price of buying or renting a building....
